Regarding the memorial: First name, last name, date of birth, and date of death
Recipients of Loving Memories’ newsletter: Email address
We collect the above data for the following reasons:
To offer user profiles, membership, possible subscriptions, and newsletters, the abovementioned data is necessary to store for Loving Memories.
Regarding payment information:
All credit card information from our users is stored by our payment provider Stripe Inc. Loving Memories does not have access to these data.
What if I want my personal data deleted or handed over?
You can at any time get the data we store about you handed over, whether it is in connection with a user profile or as a recipient of our newsletter. In these cases, you must send an email to [email protected].
If you want to delete your profile on Loving Memories, please write to us at [email protected]. If you are no longer interested in receiving our newsletter, you can use the unsubscribe link that comes with the newsletter. In this connection, your personal data will be deleted. However, this only applies to our database of newsletter recipients. A possible user profile will still be valid, and the associated data will continue to be stored.
Regarding the deceased (the person who the online memorial is created for):
We keep information and data belonging to the memorial as long as the user and the administrator allows the memorial website to run. If the administrator chooses to terminate the online memorial, this and all associated data are immediately deleted.
Security breach of personal data
Within 72 hours after a possible breach of personal data security, Loving Memories will report the incident to the Data Protection Authority in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation article 33.
Data storage and transfer
All data is stored in the website's database, which is operated and hosted by Simply.com and Heroku.com.

Loving Memories uses an encrypted connection based on an SSL certificate. Data transfer to the website server is done via HTTPS.
